"Our Story"

At Chris Langley Contracting Limited, we’ve built a reputation for quality garden care, personal service, and results that last. Based on the Hibiscus Coast, we work across Auckland’s North Shore and surrounding suburbs — helping homeowners and businesses keep their outdoor spaces thriving.

Our journey began with a shift in priorities. After many years in the corporate world, both Chris and Karin decided to make a lifestyle change — one that aligned more closely with what truly mattered to us. Like many others, the Covid years made us rethink how we wanted to work and live.

Chris’s passion for the outdoors and his drive to deliver exceptional service made the next step an obvious one. We both upskilled in horticulture and turned that passion into a business — one where Chris could lead from the front, hands-on and out in nature, doing work he genuinely enjoys.

Karin now works behind the scenes, keeping everything organised and running smoothly. After a recent injury made working in the field less sustainable, she transitioned into a more forgiving role — but remains actively involved in supporting clients, team operations, and the growth of the business.

Over the years, we’ve built incredible relationships with our clients — many of whom feel more like family. We’re truly grateful for the trust they place in us and the opportunity to help transform the spaces they call home.
